About the Position

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring that Delicato adheres to established guidelines for good accounting practices and fulfills the commitments related to accounting, taxes, and similar matters, as well as providing support functions to the organization and customers.

What the job includes:

• Ongoing accounting, ledgers
• Participate in monthly and annual closings, account reconciliations
• Collection cases
• Booking of incoming & outgoing payments and other bank transactions
• VAT and tax reporting
• Active member of the Finance & IT team and also a support function to other functions in the team
• Financial analysis

In addition to traditional accounting tasks, some IT, administrative, and office-related duties are also included. We are in the process of procuring a new business system where you will be a key player in influencing, testing, and implementing this. In this role, you will be part of a team of 4 people and report to the CFO.

About You

We are looking for someone with a high school education in finance or a vocational education as an accounting economist. You have good accounting knowledge and at least 3 years of practical experience. To succeed in this role, you are a curious and meticulous person with a knack for numbers. You see that there is always room for constructive improvements and view it as a challenge to delve into the details. You are used to working independently and meeting deadlines.

Furthermore, you are an unpretentious and proactive person who sees what needs to be done and has a strong interest and understanding of processes. You should have a burning interest in systems and excellent IT skills as you will be the responsible superuser in various accounting systems.

We are looking for you with:

• A few years of experience working with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Experience in ongoing accounting, tax and VAT handling, and reconciliations
• Previous experience participating in closing work
• Good system and IT skills
• Fluent level of Swedish both spoken and written

If you have previously worked in a manufacturing company, it is an advantage - as well as experience with Medius and if you have previously been involved in a business system change. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is curious, initiative-taking, and has a business interest.

Delicato AB was founded in 1948 by Einar Belvén in Stockholm and has since grown to become one of Sweden's most well-known companies in the bakery and confectionery sector. The company started as a bakery and pastry shop and quickly became known for its high-quality pastries. Today, Delicato is the largest manufacturer of confectionery products in the Nordic region and sells its products in both retail and through professional distributors. It has 130 employees and generates approximately 350 million SEK (2023).

About the Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) located in Segeltorp where parking is available. A probationary period applies (6 months). Delicato embraces a flexible working style with the possibility to work remotely.
